My waitress kinda sucked my waffle had water drip all over it and I asked for real butter and they brought me whipped margarine after I said if y'all don't carry real butter I'll order something else. A waffle and two tiny pieces of over cooked dry chicken strip 9.95 the food is usually so good. Today it was horrible my husband asked for a slice of American cheese for his grits they added shredded cheddar. My grandsons bacon was way under cooked and his pancakes were brown one side and burnt side was placed down. I'm a reg here but after today I'd rather drive to golden coral. Not good.

I never thought that restaurant is so good. So unimpressive from the outside but really nice from the inside!Authentic interior and good food. Very friendly staff.

Let me tell you about this "Gem" in Morgan City. I don't drive TO Morgan City. I drive OVER Morgan City (Elevated Highway). I found myself there for the day for business. I stopped at The Galley at the suggestion of a friend. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once inside, your mind is changed. Textbook southern charm. The wait staff is awesome and the food is beyond phenomenal. The shrimp poboy is great. I definitely give this establishment 5 stars.

Grilled Club Sandwich was wonderful. Everything was warm and very flavorful. Always have good service.

Great food, with a wide variety. Kind and friendly staff. The waitresses go out their way 2 make sure you have a great dining experience. The place is nice and clean. Really like the decor of the restaurant. Bathrooms with clean an smelled fresh, lol. But really they all seem nice and tried to makes the all-around dining experience.

Love the way this place looks from the inside the menu is pretty cool and amusing also contributing to the hard working men offshore the portions are fair and food is great love the breakfast. And the servers take good Care of their costumers. Stop by for something good in the area.

Very friendly staff but the food had a prefabricated/synthetic feel/taste to it and the prices were not reflecting that.

Clean and friendly with a nice menu selection. Ordered over $30.00 in food but was disappointed in the cheese burger, the meat was so tough I didn't take but two bites and throw it away. What a waste but at least the boudin balls were really good, i enjoyed them and wish i would've ordered two orders of them.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The customer service is impeccable! And the food...y'all the food!! 😍😍😍 I haven't tried anything yet other than breakfast, I will update again when I try lunch or dinner. Do not hesitate to visit this location. You will not be disappointed. Also, vegetarians, the veggie omelette is awesome!!!

The Galley is a friendly home town restaurant with lots of options, great portions, good prices, sweet workers. We eat breakfast often here. You can order what you want breakfast or lunch any time of the day.

I've eaten here twice now and can't say enough about how delicious their food is! I forgot to photo my entree, but their fried mac n cheese app was amazing!

Came here for date night on a Saturday night. Not busy at all. Probably should've been my first flag. The waitress was nice and attentive, but fairly quick. Messed up my order. Gave me sweet potato fries when I asked for French fries. I had the seafood plate. It was ok. Not great, just ok. Boyfriend had the hamburger steak. He said the mashed potatoes were obviously from a box and the gravy was so thick it was nearly hard. Corn from a can. If you're looking for home cooked, this ain't it. Breakfast may be better, but I really wouldn't recommend for dinner. I wanted to try it once, but I won't again.

Only place I wanted to eat my Birthday Breakfast! Good was fantastic, as usual, and they even added whipped cream and a couple candles on my pancake.

People were friendly, food took a while--but it was packed. I ordered the shrimp platter for 11.99 and the shrimp were kind of small.... especially considering we are in Louisiana. Other than that. We had no complaints.

Small restaurant with mostly consistent service. Be prepared to wait a bit if you get in with the breakfast/church crowd on Sunday. It’s always worth it. I recommend the Captain’s plate.

Great place for Sunday breakfast! Nice staff good food. I enjoy the Galley Griddle. Eggs and bacon BETWEEN 2 pancakes. Reasonable prices.

Had a chicken quesadilla for lunch and it did not disappoint! Large portion sizes and all our table’s food came out nice and hot! Great service too.

Awesome food! Great service, and a hometown atmosphere. I'm from out of town and they made me feel welcome like I was right at home. Friendly staff all around. Will definitely be back! I had the shrimp po boy and the jalepeno poppers, and both were delicious.
